Course Content

Summary methods of numerical data: Measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion. Graphical summary methods. Basic probability concepts. Discrete random variables and probability distributions. Continuous random variables and probability distributions.

Course Objective and Fulfillments to be obtained by Students

 

To make students be able to use appropiate tools of  descriptive statistics. To grasp the concept of probability, random variables and probability distribution of random variables as a base for inferential statistics
