Course Objective and Fulfillments to be obtained by
Students |
The purpose of this course is to introduce basic concepts
of statistics such as collecting and describing data, probability theory and
probability distributions of discrete and continuous random variables. At the
end of the course the students shall be able to collect and handle the data
to conduct explanatory analysis and be acquainted with probability theory and
probablity distributions, and thus shall be
prepared to hypothesis testing and statistical decision theory. |
