Course Objective and Fulfillments to be obtained by Students

 

This course focuses on the role of expectations, relationship between unemployment, prices and output and, the issues concerning macroeconomic policy making. At the end of this course students should be able to: Understand and explain the basic principles determining the level of economic activity and understand and explain the causes and processes of inflation, unemployment and national income determination, and extend their understanding of closed economy relationships to the analysis of basic open economy issues
